Marketing strategies of professional coaching institutes in Nagpur city: A systematic review of traditional and digital approaches with post-COVID transformation

The Indian professional coaching market has grown at a very high rate and cities like Nagpur, which are classified as tier-2, have become important centers of competitive evaluation training. This review considers marketing tactics used by professional coaching institutes in Nagpur, with the emphasis on the shift to the digital and hybrid strategies, in particular, in the aftermath of COVID. A methodical search of scientific and industry publications and governmental reports (2015-2025) was made, and 62 sources were synthesized. Some of the key determinants of student enrollment mentioned in the review are the reputation of the faculty, verifiable outcomes, transparency of fees, access, and digital presence. There is indication that the institutes with new models of learning that are hybrid, search and social media marketing and data guided personalization are better placed in terms of their enrollment and cost efficiency than those that used traditional channels as the primary ones. The gaps in research are identified as ROI measurement, longitudinal behavior and tier-2 specific modeling. Coaching institutes in Nagpur can be affected by the same. The lesson is ethical and evidence-based communication as well as equal attention to both traditional and digital tools.
